Isaac Navicare has now supported more than 1,000 people

We are proud to announce that as of the end of August 2025, in less than four years of operation, Navicare has supported over 1,000 individuals across the Isaac, Tieri/Capella and Sarina areas to access timely and affordable specialist mental health and wrap-around supports. Each year, we find that up to 10% of previous clients return to Navicare for additional support. Sometimes, it’s for a new psychology referral when they receive a new Mental Health Treatment Plan each year. Other times, it’s because their circumstances have changed, and they require additional support. Whatever the reason for contact, people are able to connect with Isaac Navicare for support as often as they need.

Care Navigator, Keeley Ryan with a local Moranbah community member

Having the Navicare Program team connect people within the Isaac and Whitsunday regions to the right mental health supports at the right time is having a positive impact on the people living and working in the communities that host our BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) operation
— Mr Mizuno

Isaac Navicare can assist people with referrals for a range of mental health and wellbeing needs. From grief and loss or low mood to more complex needs such as for post-traumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia, or neurodiversity, our Care Navigators can support you to connect with a specialist mental health clinician to suit your needs. We also provide referrals for other needs, such as emergency housing, financial counselling or domestic and family violence support.

The Isaac Navicare service is proudly supported by our founding partner, Mitsubishi Development – helping us make a difference in our community.
